    Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a system cost?

Systems are based on the complexity of the roof line and the size of the home.  Some very basic small houses could be in the area of $1,000.00. Large homes with complex rooflines, dormers, multiple ridges can exceed $10,000.00.
How long does it take for a system to be installed?

Again, installation of a system is based on the complexity of the roof line and the size of the home.  Some very basic small houses could be installed in two days. Large homes with complex rooflines, dormers, multiple ridges can take a week or longer.
What is a system made of?

We use copper or aluminum to construct our systems. All of the cable is multiple strands braided to for cable. The air terminals (lightning rods)  and cable are either copper or aluminum. The bases are bronze, copper, or aluminum. Copper is the preferred material, however some applications require aluminum. There is no difference in the functionality between the two.
